Corpus Christi
Today, Thursday June 3rd, is a holiday in Rio. As with most holidays, expect nearly everything to be closed. However, shopping malls will open from 3pm to 9pm. Friday everything should run as normal.
Happiest City
Rio de Janeiro has been voted the “happiest city in the world.” And not to my surprise.

What’s Next?
Well, it looks like the blog is live. What’s next, actually, is getting it to look a little better than it does at the moment. Styling some things. Nipping and tucking. Doing that for the whole site, really. But now, at least, I can jump back and forth between technical details and content.

Kilograma in Copacabana Closed
And it was a total surprise to me. The front is all closed off and a large sign proclaims it the site of a future “Frontera.” It happened literally overnight. Their website is http://www.frontera.com.br Let’s hope it’ll be an improvement.
