			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Wayyyyyyyy behind on the blogging, I know.  I&#8217;ve got a lot on my plate these days.  Lots of material planned as soon as I find the time.  But I had to take just a second out from daydreaming about the <em>brasileira</em> whose intimate acquaintance I was pleased to make last night to share this one with you guys.  God forbid you should get food poisoning <em>anywhere, </em>let alone while traveling, but accidents do happen.  Fortunately, here in Rio, there&#8217;s a very nice solution close to hand.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We&#8217;re recently on a health kick here at Amerioca, and it shows in both our physique and attitude.  We&#8217;re getting a lot more done.</p>
<p>This is a blog about Rio de Janeiro, but it is also a blog about the <em>day to day</em> in Rio de Janeiro.  And that includes what we eat and how we take care of ourselves.</p>
<p>I get asked a lot about how I&#8217;ve lost so much weight (45 lbs. and counting), and so I intend to address those questions here, too.  For the moment, here&#8217;s an inspirational story from a site I enjoy a lot, and one which has helped shape my own diet and fitness approach over the last few months.</p>
